When everyone thinks of a romantic place to spend Valentine’s Day they think of Paris with baguettes, wine and cheese. Not that I think Paris is overrated (shoot I would have a heart attack if someone flew me over to the city of love for Valentine’s day!!) but I would also enjoy going somewhere a little more exotic such as the Villa Escudero. This lovely place is located in the Philippines. 

A few things to enjoy there are:

• Birdwatching
• The Philippine Experience
• The Villa Escudero Waterfalls Restaurant

What caught my eye about this place was the waterfalls restaurant! Look at the pictures:

Staying here is a lot more affordable than staying Paris.
